Featured Previous Projects

Civil Engineering Assignments have been privileged to work with a range of clients on many interesting and technically complex projects. Featured below , are just some of the many we have worked on.

West Knapton Safety Improvements (MSIF)
Location: West Knapton, A64, North Yorkshire, UK

National Highways identified this site as an accident blackspot leading to significant network disruption especially in the summer months. The project aims to provide multiple right turn lanes , bus lay-bys and improve pedestrian safety with the introduction of central median islands. This was accomplished by significantly widening the existing carriageway.

South Cave Safety Improvements (MSIF)
Location: South Cave , A63, East Riding, UK

A63 South Cave Minor Safety Improvement Fund (MSIF) scheme was proposed to reduce accident upon entry to the A63 from South Cave and long the A1034 while waiting to turn right onto the slip road. These two roads were owned by separate stakeholders; A63 Highways England and the A1034 by East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC), providing challenges in respects to expectations and time frames.
